Project Manager / Partner
Chris Baker joined Legacy Pointe Properties in January 2022. In this role, Baker oversees the acquisition, development and construction of commercial storage properties throughout the Charlotte-metro area. He provides strategic planning, organization, management and problem-solving for each property from start to finish.
Prior to joining Legacy Pointe Properties, Baker worked as a sales representative in the paper, packaging and janitorial supply industry. Baker has over 13 years of experience in sales and understands the importance of customer service and relationships in business. His ambitious character led him to top salesman of the company for many years and is ultimately, what led him to transition from sales to real estate development to achieve further growth and success in his professional life.
Baker was born and raised in Danville, VA. He attended Virginia Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences. He has served on the board of directors for Tuscarora Country Club and the Danville area Hokie Club. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time on the lake (both Lake Norman and Smith Mountain Lake in VA), skiing, golfing, and attending Virginia Tech football games. He and his wife, Meagan reside in Mooresville, NC with their daughter and chocolate lab.
